Mayor Fenty to Brief Media on City Snow Operations for Wednesday

(Washington, DC) Mayor Adrian M. Fenty and other city officials will brief reporters this morning about city plans for snow operations throughout the day on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Snow Advisory for Wednesday from 6 am to 6 pm for an area that includes the District of Columbia. Forecasters are predicting accumulations of up to 1 to 2 inches of snow (particularly on grassy areas) with a high temperature of 35 degrees today.
