An expected snow band entered the District and the region during the early morning hours. District snow crews were dispatched and treated elevated surfaces and roadways. Elevated surfaces are areas where freezing may occur faster than regular roadways and include bridges, overpasses and ramps. Motorists are advised to drive with caution as temperatures remain below freezing and icy patches could occur. The snow is expected to move out of the region around 10am this morning.
