Contact (Media Only): Erik Linden (202) 671-2004; Karyn LeBlanc (202) 671-3490

(Washington, DC) The DC Circulator, the “Coolest Ride in Town,” continues to celebrate its first anniversary by launching a new website. The new site incorporates riders’ suggestions and includes a “podcast” that can be downloaded to portable digital music players. The podcast contains information and interviews on events and entertainment along the Circulator routes—including an exclusive interview with Damien Sinclair of the Capital Fringe Festival. The interview offers a sneak peek at the festival.

In celebration of the ongoing success of the Circulator, riders can also experience a “free day” on July 28. For details, please visit http://www.dccirculator.com/ or call (202) 962-1423.

Constantly seeking to offer the best service, the Circulator has introduced extended evening hours during the Capital Fringe Festival, July 20-30, featuring more than 400 performances in more than 30 venues in downtown DC. Buses on the North/South Route (Convention Center Shaw/Southwest Waterfront) will run until midnight on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights of the Fringe Festival (July 20-22 and 27-29). Service remains $1.00 per ride.
