(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will begin road reconstruction work on Military Road, NW, between 14th Street and 29th Street, Tuesday, June 13, 2006, weather permitting. Work will be conducted in sections with crews beginning at 14th Street.

Work will consist of base and curb repair, milling and overlay of the street. The project is scheduled to take four weeks. Work is scheduled to be performed during non-rush hours from 9:30 am–3:30 pm daily. Parking restrictions will be posted 72 hours in advance where applicable.
