(Washington, DC) As the weekend's snow melts away, the crews of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) have turned their attention to winter's other problem - potholes. Trucks used for salting and plowing were refitted over the weekend to carry asphalt and dispatched to work in all parts of the city. Some eight crews are responding to potholes reported to (202) 727-1000, the Mayor's Citywide Call Center, and submitted online to the
Service Request Center. Requests are filled within three business days.
