Roosevelt Bridge Lanes and Ramp Closures

(Washington, DC) The District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) announces the closures of the following traffic lanes and access ramps as part of the repair of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge deck.

For the next four months, there will be daily off-peak closures on the eastbound lanes during the day and at night, weather permitting.

Ramp C (from Route 50 in Virginia to eastbound Roosevelt Bridge) and Ramp F (southbound GW Parkway to eastbound Roosevelt Bridge) will be closed on weekends from 9:30 pm on Friday until 5 am on Monday until mid-April. Both ramps will also be closed from 9:30 pm until 5:30 am from now until mid-April.

There will be off-peak lane closures on George Washington Parkway at the Roosevelt Bridge until mid-April.

Drivers will be directed to the Memorial Bridge, with electronic message boards advising motorists of the closings and detour routes.
