(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announces the first in a series of meetings to obtain community input on the implementation of the ClearChannel Adshel (Adshel) bus shelter agreement recently signed by Mayor Anthony A. Williams.

 

The first set of meetings is listed below, with additional sessions to be scheduled in the other wards in January:

The new bus shelter program calls for replacing all existing shelters, expanding the number of shelters and a number of innovative features, such as bus maps and real-time bus arrival information. Representatives from DDOT and Adshel will be present to describe the program and respond to questions.
