(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announces two meetings on Thursday, June 30 to discuss the redesign of the Benning Road, Maryland Avenue, Florida Avenue, H Street and Bladensburg Road, NE, intersection, known as the "Starburst Intersection."

The Starburst Intersection is one of the most complex and busy crossroads in the District, with a mix of commercial, industrial and residential nearby land-uses. As part Mayor Williams' Great Streets program, DDOT is redesigning this busy crossroads to improve traffic, pedestrian safety and the aesthetics of the area.
