The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is encouraging transit riders and residents to attend a public meeting Thursday, February 5, 2009, to review and comment on the preliminary findings of the Metrobus “D” Route Study. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) will present its recommendations for improving service on the D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6 and D8 lines.
The recommended changes were developed based in-part on information gathered in a first round of public meetings held last fall. Metro also solicited input from bus drivers on the D Routes.
