Emergency No Parking signs are posted for many purposes, including utility and street repairs, loading of household furniture, weddings and funerals. However, the signs do not indicate the reason that parking is prohibited or whom to call for more information. DDOT proposes to print, number and issue Emergency No Parking signs that increase transparency and accountability and reduce the annoyance and frustrations of the current system. This meeting is part of DDOT’s continuing discussion of these proposals.
