The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) plans to install curbside charging stations to support the introduction and future demand for electric vehicles (EV) in the District. A Request for Information (RFI) on installation, management, and operation of outdoor curbside electric vehicle charging stations was released January 4, 2010.
DDOT intends to use the information from the responses to establish parameters and requirements to be included in a possible future solicitation for offers. Interested parties, please review the RFI for details on the information requested. The deadline for information is February 25, 2010.
