(Washington, DC) This is to advise the public that the group A.N.S.W.E.R. is scheduled to hold a rally and march on Saturday, March 17, 2007. To facilitate this event road closings and traffic detours will be in effect beginning at 12 noon on Saturday, March 17, 2007. These closings and detours will remain in effect pending the completion of the march.
- Constitution Avenue, NW, closed between 17th and 23rd Streets, NW
As a result of this closing inbound traffic heading into the District of Columbia from the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge will be diverted in the following direction:
- Northbound onto 23rd Street, NW
Additionally, traffic proceeding southbound on 23rd Street, NW, will be diverted at Virginia Avenue, NW. Southbound traffic on 19th and 22nd Streets, NW, will be diverted at E Street, NW.
Motorists should be advised that these routes are subject to change as conditions necessitate and that their patience is appreciated as delays in these areas may occur.
