(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is pleased to announce it will begin two roadway resurfacing projects in Georgetown next week:

  • Work on S Street, NW, from Wisconsin Avenue to 32nd Street is scheduled to begin on April 30, 2007, weather permitting. Construction is expected to be completed by May 10, 2007.
  • Work on 34th Street, NW, from Wisconsin Avenue to M Street is also scheduled to begin on April 30, 2007, weather permitting. Construction is expected to be completed by May 12, 2007.

The resurfacing will involve milling existing roadway and overlaying it with new roadway pavements.

DDOT appreciates patience on the part of residents and businesses during this critical repair work. Motorists should use caution when traveling through the work zone.
