Be advised that on or about May 29, 2007, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will begin roadway resurfacing on Rhode Island Avenue, NE—from North Capitol Street to 10th Street, NE—both eastbound and westbound.

Work in the area is scheduled to be completed by June 15, 2007, weather permitting. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times during road work.

Parking will be restricted as needed in the work area. Park restriction signs will be posted seventy-two (72) hours prior to the start of all work in this area. The signs will contain the following information:

• Starting and ending dates.
• Daily starting and ending times.

DDOT advises motorists to stay alert when traveling through the work zone.
