(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to conduct road work in the next few weeks on three bus and commuter routes in Northwest.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the following locations:

• S Street, NW, between 32nd Street and Wisconsin Avenue
  (Start on July 2, completion by July 6, weather permitting. Work will include resurfacing of the roadway.)
  
• K Street, NW, between 21st Street and Wisconsin Avenue
  (Start on July 6, completion by July 29, weather permitting. Work will include resurfacing, repairs to sidewalks, curbs and gutters.)
  
• Q Street, NW, between 30th Street and Wisconsin Avenue
  (Start on July 9, completion by July 20, weather permitting. Work will include resurfacing, repairs to sidewalks, curbs and gutters.)

Work hours are from 7 am to 7 pm. Access to adjacent homes and businesses will be maintained.

Motorists should expect minor delays during work and should use extreme caution when traveling through the work zone.
