(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is pleased this morning to announce the completion of roadway restoration on Park Road, NW, from the bridge over Piney Branch Parkway to Beach Drive, NW.

Construction was completed ahead of schedule following a two-month closure of the road in both directions.

The roadway is scheduled to reopen this morning (July 5), following morning rush hour.

The much-needed work involved milling and resurfacing the roadway, repairing and replacing curbs and gutters and new line striping on the entire stretch. Work also involved upgrades to drainage systems on the roadway.

DDOT appreciates the patience of residents and motorists during the road work.
