(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will begin roadway resurfacing on “S” Street NW from New Hampshire Avenue to Connecticut Avenue on September 12, weather permitting. Construction is expected to be completed by October 6, 2007.

The resurfacing will involve repairing/replacing existing curbs and gutters and alley entrance ways. In addition DDOT will mill the existing roadway and overlay it with new roadway pavements.

During construction, DDOT will work with those concerned to maintain access to the adjacent houses and businesses.
