(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises motorists, visitors and residents of upcoming work on New York Avenue, NE, between Penn Street, NE, and Florida Avenue, NE.

The work will entail lane restrictions from 9:30 pm on September 21, 2007 to 4 am on September 24, 2007. All lanes will reopen for rush hour traffic on Monday morning.

Also be advised of lane restrictions on Florida Avenue, NE, between New York Avenue and Third Street, NE, during the same time period. The lane closures are to accommodate resurfacing work following utility upgrades.
