(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) in partnership with Federal Highways Administration (FWHA) will be performing signage upgrades on the 14th Street Bridge corridor beginning Sunday.
All work will be done on the District of Columbia side of the bridge and will require lane closures. The HOV lanes outbound and the HOV ramp from the HOV to 395 inbound lanes will be closed during the work hours. The posting of new signs along this corridor will serve to help all motorists in their travels.
The closure will begin Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 9 pm. Work will wrap up by Monday, October 15, 2007 prior to rush hour.
Work on the project will continue through Thursday night October 18, 2007 until all new signs are properly secured. Work hours are 9 pm to 5 am. Motorists please use caution when traveling through the work zone.
