Work on New York Avenue, NE

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) advises motorists, visitors and residents of weekend roadway restoration work on New York Avenue, NE, between Penn Street and Florida Avenue, NE.

Two middle lanes of traffic will closed from 9:30 pm tonight, November 2, 2007 to 5 am on Monday November 5, 2007. All lanes will open for rush hour traffic on Monday morning.

Work on Florida Avenue, NE

DDOT advises motorists, visitors and residents of weekend roadway restoration work on Florida Avenue, NE, between Third Street and Eckington Place, NE.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane of travel on the westbound side of Florida Avenue. Work is from 9:30 pm on November 2, 2007 to 5 am on November 5, 2007.

Please use caution when traveling through the work zone.

Work in Northbound Third Street Tunnel

DDOT will be performing routine roadway maintenance in the Third Street Tunnel starting tonight after 7:30 pm. One lane on the northbound side in the tunnel will be closed during this brief project. Traffic engineers will be on site to guide motorists safely through the site.

Work is slated to be completed by 5 am Monday, November 5, 2007 or sooner.
