(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to temporarily close lanes on Kenilworth Avenue on the evening of Tuesday, January 15, 2008. A minimum of two (2) and no more than three (3) closures are planned for durations of no more than 15 minutes.

Pepco is conducting necessary emergency repairs at the Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue intersection on Kenilworth Avenue.

Crews will begin mobilization at 11:00 pm. DDOT’s Roadway Operations Patrol will work to assure safe lane closures throughout the repair period and safe guidance of motorists traveling in the area.

It is anticipated that repairs will be completed in the early morning hours with all lanes open for Wednesday morning rush hour.
