DDOT Scheduled for Final Ramp Closure on Whitehurst Freeway Ramp
Final Ramp Closure - weather permitting

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to complete preventive maintenance and emergency repair work on the Potomac Freeway ramp to Whitehurst Freeway.  Ramp work will begin on Monday, February 18 at 6 am and is scheduled to be completed by 6 am on Wednesday, February 20.

The following detour will be in place when the ramp is closed and will be signed as follows:

Detour: Motorists traveling from I-66/Potomac Freeway may take a left to exit onto Rock Creek Parkway, bear right at the yield sign on 27th Street, NW; left onto "K" Street to the Whitehurst Freeway.

DDOT Scheduled to Conduct Joint Emergency Repair on 11th Street Bridge, SE
Temporary Lane Closures Expected

DDOT is scheduled to conduct a bridge joint emergency repair in the outbound lanes on the 11th Street Bridge, SE, over the Anacostia River. Crews will work from 7am-7pm, weather permitting, Monday, February 18.

Due to the nature of the work lane closures will be necessary - a maximum of two lanes will be closed at any given time.
