(Washington, DC) After completing initial tests on the bridge swing span Friday evening, DDOT has determined further testing will be necessary and is scheduled to close the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge Saturday evening at 10 pm. The bridge is scheduled to reopen by 5 am Sunday morning.
