(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) has announced starting at 10 am this morning two inbound lanes on New York Avenue, NE between Fairview and the 9th Street ramp will be closed indefinitely due to a broken storm sewer. Necessary repairs will begin after the current storm system leaves the area. Crews can begin work once the storm has cleared. It is anticipated the inbound lanes will be closed throughout the weekend. Additional details will be provided as repairs commence.
