H Street Bridge Over Amtrak – Daytime and Nighttime Work
(Washington, DC) Crews are continuing work on the H Street Bridge over Amtrak beginning July 7th through July 10th, weather permitting. DDOT began conducting repairs and upgrades to the bridge in January 2008. To ensure the safety of the workers and the traveling public, temporary lane closures will be necessary over the 4 day work period.
Crews will work both daytime and nighttime hours – daytime from 9 am to 3 pm and evenings from 7 pm to 5 am. All lanes will remain open during am and pm rush hours.
14th Street Bridge Northbound Nighttime Work Scheduled
DDOT will be conducting required maintenance and emergency repairs on the northbound section of the 14th Street Bridge. To ensure the safety of the workers and the traveling public temporary lanes closures will be necessary.
Nighttime work will begin on Monday, July 7th thru Thursday July 10th from 9 pm to 5 am, weather permitting. All lanes will be reopen by the morning rush hour.
DDOT advises all motorists to travel safely through the work zone.
