Power Outage in Northwest DC, Some Signals Lights Dark

WASHINGTON, DC — Due to a power outage near Georgia Avenue in northwest DC a number of traffic signals are currently dark. DDOT has deployed a variety of traffic assistance measures including portable stop signs, Traffic Control Officers and generators. There is no current status as to when power will be restored.
 
Motorists are cautioned to proceed with caution to to treat all unsingalized intersections as four-way stops.
 
The following signals are currently reported without power:

  • Georgia & Kenyon, NW
  • Georgia & Irving, NW
  • Sherman & Columbia, NW
  • Sherman & Irving, NW
  • 11th & Irving, NW
  • 11th & Kenyon, NW
