Power Outage in Northeast, Reports of Intersections without Power

WASHINGTON, DC — The District Department of Transportation has received reports of a power outage in northeast DC. The following intersections are currently dark.

  • 17th Street and L Street
  • 17th Street and M Street
  • Mt. Olivet Road and West Virginia Avenue
  • Mt. Olivet Road and Trinidad Avenue
  • Mt. Olivet Road and Brentwood Road
  • Mt. Olivet Road and Bladensburg Road

DDOT’s Road Operations Patrol is in the process of setting up variable stop signs at these intersections and Traffic Control Officers are being deployed.  Intersections that are without power should be treated as a four-way stop.  Motorists are advised to proceed with caution through this area.
