Three (3) of the southbound lanes of I-395 have been shutdown at the South Capitol Street exit, due to a vehicular accident. Only the left lane is currently open to traffic.

Motorists are advised to expect major delays through rush hour. The Department of Transportation (DDOT), the Department of Public Works (DPW), the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), Fire and Emergency Medical Services (FEMS) and the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) are on scene working to reopen the roadway as soon as possible.
