Most Roads Reopened, Some Temporary Closures Scheduled for Today

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) reports the majority of the roads that were closed or restricted due to yesterday's Presidential Inauguration and the inaugural balls have reopened.

Motorists are advised to expect temporary closures on Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd and 14th this morning, lasting until approximately 7am, as remaining security barriers are removed.

Residents and Motorists should also expect temporary road closures near the National Cathedral along Massachusetts and Wisconsin Avenue in northwest between 7:30 and 11am due to the National Prayer Service scheduled for 9 am this morning.
