The District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be doing reconstruction work on joints in the roadway at two locations this weekend. Temporary lane closures will be necessary and motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays as they travel through the work zones.

On Saturday, January 31, DDOT will be working on I-295 (Anacostia Freeway) over Howard Road, SE and the Suitland Parkway. This work is expected to take one day to complete.

On Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, DDOT will be working on New York Avenue, NE over the CSX and Metro tracks. This work is expected to take two days to complete.

All of the work on both projects will be conducted between 7:30 am and 7:00 pm.
