The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be working on joints in the roadway on I-295 (Anacostia Freeway) this weekend.  The work is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, from 7:30 am to 7 pm, weather permitting.

The work zone will be the segment of I-295 over Howard Road and the Suitland Parkway and temporary lane closures will be required.  The far left lane on both the southbound and northbound sides of I-295 will be closed until the work is completed.  Two travel lanes will be open to traffic in both directions, but motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays.
