The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be working on joints in the roadway on I-295 (Anacostia Freeway) this weekend.  The work is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, from 7:30 am to 4 pm, weather permitting.

The work zone will be the segment of I-295 over Howard Road and the Suitland Parkway.  The center lane on the southbound side of I-295 will be closed until the work is completed.  Two travel lanes will be open to southbound traffic and motorists are advised to stay to the far left or right to get through the work zone.

Delays are possible as a result of this work and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by the project.
