(Washington DC) A memorial service for one of the victims of last week’s Metro train crash, Major General David F. Wherley Jr., is scheduled for this evening at the DC Armory.  The Armory is located on East Capitol Street, between 19th and 22nd Streets.  No road closures are scheduled, but a high volume of pedestrian traffic is expected and motorists in the area are advised there could be intermittent traffic delays between 4 pm and 9 pm.
 
DDOT will deploy traffic control officers to assist with traffic and pedestrian crossings.
