(Washington, DC) In recent months, DDOT crews have been working on the east side of the 4900-5300 blocks of Reno Road, NW, between Fessenden Street and Military Road. Work has included replacing curbs in the entire length of this busy corridor, installing new storm drain lines, catch basins and initial repaving. Between September 8 and September 9, DDOT will re-route traffic onto the east side of Reno Road. This will allow crews to begin reconstruction on the west side of Reno Road, NW. DDOT estimates the completion of this comprehensive roadway reconstruction project to be March 2007. As always, DDOT asks residents and motorists traveling in the area to exercise caution and patience.
