(Washington, DC) – The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will hold a community information session on its Tenant Purchase Assistance Programs. If residents live in an apartment building that is put up for sale, DHCD offers programs that may assist residents in purchasing that building. This session will provide information on how these programs can help with down payment assistance, organizing and structuring tenant organizations, help with loan applications, support in sales negotiations, and more.
Residents, Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners, tenant organizations, civic organizations and other stakeholders are encouraged to attend. Persons who are interested in attending should RSVP at (202) 442-7251 or dhcdevents@dc.gov no later than Friday, March 30.
