The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is soliciting applications under federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funding dedicated to neighborhood revitalization and the preservation of affordable housing for the benefit of low and moderate income households. 

The purpose of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to solicit applications for grant funds to conduct Façade Storefront Improvement in the District.  This activity is part of the Department’s Neighborhood-Based Activities program.

CDBG funds will be used to fund grant agreements with community-based non-profit organizations to develop façade storefront improvement projects in targeted commercial corridors in the District.  Further details on these activities are described in the RFA.
