(Washington, DC) - The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) announced today a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for 9 percent Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). Also available under this notice are up to $2 million for the development of supportive housing units for the exclusive use of Department of Mental Health consumers.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be released on Friday, April 10.  The RFP package (in CD format) will be available for pick-up at DHCD, located at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE (first floor reception desk), and online by Monday, April 13. A pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday, April 14 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at Matthews Memorial Baptist Church, 2616 Martin Luther King Jr., Avenue, SE.  Completed applications are due to DHCD no later than Monday, May 18.
