(Washington, DC) The Director of the Department of Housing and Community Development for the District of Columbia, Jalal Greene today announced the release of the 2005 revision to the District of Columbia's Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). The 2005 Qualified Allocation Plan required by Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended ("IRC Section 42") requires the allocation of Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) by allocating agencies pursuant to a Qualified Allocation Plan. Developers of affordable housing projects proposing to use low income housing tax credits in the District of Columbia are hereby notified of the release of the 2005 QAP revision.
The 2005 QAP will be published in the District of Columbia Register in the July 29, 2005 Edition..
