Public Hearing “Draft Proposed Consolidated Plan for Fiscal Year 2005 Action Plan”

(Washington, DC) Mr. Stanley Jackson, Director, Department of Housing and Community Development (Department), announces a Public Hearing on the “Draft Proposed Consolidated Plan for the District of Columbia Fiscal Year 2005 Action Plan”. The hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at 801 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington, D.C., 9th Floor Board Room. The purpose of the hearing is to provide the public with an opportunity to express its views on the “Draft Proposed Consolidated Plan for the District of Columbia Fiscal Year 2005 Action Plan” and budgets to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The Department will utilize this input from the public, consistent with the District’s economic development strategy, citywide strategic plan, and identified strategic target areas, to finalize the “Proposed Consolidated Plan for the District of Columbia Fiscal Year 2005 Action Plan” for submission to the Council of the District of Columbia and HUD.

The “Draft Proposed Consolidated Plan for the District of Columbia Fiscal Year 2005 Action Plan” document will be made available for review as of February 26, 2004, at the Department (8th Floor), all public library branches, all Advisory Neighborhood Commission offices, and at the following community based organizations:
