The District of Columbia Department of Insurance and Securities Regulation (DISR) is in the process of incorporating a new licensing system in compliance with the Producer Licensing Model Act (PLMA). Effective February 1, 2003, DISR will not be able to accept appointments/terminations electronically through the NIPR Gateway until a projected date of March 3, 2003. Transactions sent on or before January 31, 2003, will be processed as normal.
