DISB and Manna Mortgage will host two mortgage presentations at the Washington Senior Wellness Center in Ward 7 on May 23 and 24, from 11:30 am to 1 pm. According to the Urban Institute, a research and policy analysis think tank in Washington, DC, about 5 percent of the mortgages in the District are subprime and are especially concentrated in Wards 5, 7 and 8.
