The Department of Mental Health has established a mechanism and schedule to process and adjudicate FY 2009 Mental Health Rehabilitation Services local only claims that exceed the amount of the current purchase order.  

DMH will establish an accrual account by October 23, 2009 for submission to the Office of Financial Operations and Systems (OFOS).  OFOS will make the account accessible to process claims no later than November 7, 2009. DMH will begin submitting claims for payment immediately thereafter and continue each week until all 2009 claims are resolved. 

The closeout of FY 2009 claims should proceed with batches submitted through your agency’s normal submission cycle.  Please keep in mind that all claims for dates of service prior to October 1, 2009 must be submitted by December 31, 2009.
