(Washington, DC) - Young adults who are interested in securing summer job opportunities are urged to attend a 29-hour Registration Rush for the Summer Youth Program at the Department of Employment Services (DOES) Office of Youth Programs, 625 H Street, NE. The Registration Rush, which begins on Friday, April 25 at 9 am and ends Saturday, April 26 at 2 pm, is a concerted effort by the department to ensure that every young adult in the District who is interested in working this summer has a job.
"We are committed to showing our young workers that local employers are sincerely interested in helping them develop their professional interests and skills," says Summer Spencer, director of DOES. This 29-hour Registration Rush reflects our full commitment to reach every youth in every ward of this city.
