(Washington, DC)  The Department of Employment Services’ (DOES) Columbia Heights One-Stop Career and Information Center will resume the regular operating hours of 9 am to 3 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.    

The Columbia Heights One-Stop Career and Information Center is located at 1480 Girard Street, NW and is open three days a week.  It is one of six satellite centers located in the District that serves both job seekers and employers with employment-related services.  Satellite centers offer limited services to its customers. 

The District has two full-service centers – the Franklin Street One-Stop Career Center in Northeast DC and the Naylor Road Career Center in Southeast DC – that offer District residents and businesses comprehensive employment-related services. The hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4 pm.

The District’s One-Stop Career Centers are part of a national system that combines local employment and training services with access to unemployment compensation services.
