Job Fair for New Stadium Positions - Releases - Department of Employment Services

(Washington, DC) ARAMARK Corporation, the DC Sports & Entertainment Commission, and Contemporary Services Corporation will seek to fill more than 900 job openings at the newly refurbished RFK Stadium, home of the Washington Nationals Major League Baseball and DC United. A “Grand Slam” Job Fair is scheduled to be held on Saturday, February 19, 2005 from 9 am to 5 pm, at the DC National Guard Armory, 2001 East Capitol Street, SE.

The Job Fair is co-sponsored by Mayor Anthony A. Williams, Councilmember Vincent Orange, Sr. (Ward 5) and the Department of Employment Services.

Job seekers must bring two forms of identification: social security card, a valid driver’s license or any other government issued photo identification. Screening and on-the-spot interviews will be conducted for the following positions:

· Stand Managers

· Cashiers/Counter Workers

· Grill Cook

· Bartenders

· Beverage Attendant/Beer Pourer

· Warehouse Workers

· Food Service Workers

· Food Runners

· Event Attendants
