The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has announced that Malcolm X Recreation Center, 1351 Alabama Avenue SE, will be closed Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10, 2008, due to special DC Public Schools programs.

During this temporary closure, residents are encouraged to visit the Congress Heights Recreation Center, 100 Randle Place, SE; (202) 645-3981.

Malcolm X Recreation Center will resume normal hours on Wednesday, June 11.
