The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced today that they will temporarily close two recreation centers to accommodate ongoing HVAC system repairs and installation.  The temporary closures are necessary due to the need for additional work, and to ensure the continued safety and comfort of DPR patrons.

The Chevy Chase Community Center, 5601 Connecticut Ave., NW, will be closed October 1 to 13, and the Harry Thomas, Sr. Community Center 1743 Lincoln Rd., NE, will be closed October 19 to 26.
