Mayor Adrian M. Fenty and Clark E. Ray, Director of the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will host a “leash-cutting” ceremony on Wednesday, November 5 at 4:45 pm to celebrate the opening of the Shaw Dog Park, the District’s first off-leash public dog park, located at 11th Street and Rhode Island Avenue, NW.
As part of its ongoing Meet Your Match campaign, the Washington Animal Rescue League will also be on site with adoptable puppies and dogs.
