The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has closed the Takoma Aquatic Center, 300 Van Buren Street, NW, due to a mechanical emergency. 

DPR apologizes for the inconvenience and is working to resolve the issue, but at this time cannot provide a reopening date.
