On November 14, 2008, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will temporarily close the Macomb playcourts at 3409 Macomb Street, NW and the KC Lewis playcourts at 2nd and W Streets, NW, for approximately two weeks to accommodate resurfacing of the playcourts. 

During the work, the existing playcourts will be resurfaced, new basketball standards installed, and repairs made to the fencing. 

In spring 2009, DPR will return to the courts to complete the project by making any additional surface repairs and new color coating of the playcourts.
